Should all illegal drugs be made legal?

It would stop illegal drug use... since none would be illegal, it might bring in bucks for the government, people will use drugs whether they're legal or not anyway, people have the right to freedom of choice, etc...

Other option... make all drugs illegal, including alcohol and cigarettes... after all.. they are all harmful to you and others.. in one way or another.

My answer-to avoid "bush-beating" and aggravating EVERYone!
is "YES! dammit."
Once a person has reached -whatever age- deemed
by the Feds to be "of age" ...
I mean when an individual can VOTE!,drink alcoholic beverages, etc.
And I think they need to include "eligible to enlist/for the draft" in this)
AND...
The individual is spending his/her OWN money ...
(I mean "have not committed a crime for the cash")
then : YES! Absolutelyl
Unless and/or until I commit a crime - buzz off!

Most of the "kids" can and do get much better drugs, at the moment,
-any moment- from their friends; on the "street"; and in their
parents' bedrooms.
If kids don't listen to the people who are feeding, clothing,
and housing them - the people who love them and have their
best interests firmly in mind... the government hasn't got a prayer.

"Things' weren't nearly so "out of hand" until they started yammering.


Let the government grow it, manufacture it , what!ever,
and get out! of people's way. It ain't workin'.
Slap a SIN TAX on it - God knows! that one has been profitable!

Who knows? Maybe once it isn't such a big deal -
it will lose it's charm for a lot of people if that happens.
Some people just don't like to be told what to do.

It isn't like pretty-much anyone who wants to use now ... isn't.

NO ONE needs a government to raise their kids.

As for legalizing all drugs... still giving that a lot of thought.

Some drugs are illegal! for REAL reasons.
These should - for the sake of obstinate morons LIKE ME-
if for no better reason - be legalized anyway,or else they

Ja'aj has a very good point. The system is not working , we have spent billions on the drug war, the DEA busts the runners, or dealers and they put it right back on the street. Now what about all that money. They say to us oh we got 5 million say in a big drug raid, 5 million ha ha it was probably 10 million, how do we know?Pot should be decriminalized anmd its up to the parents to educate them. You can buy drug tests and check them. Kids definitely do not need or should have drugs but because its illegal they all smoke it. When I turned 18 it was legal to drinkl. At first I thought wow, but you outgrow it and don't drink much at all because its legal now. Kids are getting heroin now, its the worst ever and its cheap. They have done oxy contin, oxy codone,vicodin, these are all hard core pain killers used for cancer, post op procedures, etc. We need to revamp the whole drug system now. The taxes we would get just on pot would be enormous.

Legalizing all drugs would mean a lot more than pot. Think about all the kinds out there.

There are so many dangerous drugs out there Breezey you should see how big a PDR Physicians Desk Reference is as it names all the drugs, manufacters, what the drugs do, etc. They just need to revamp the system big time. Now I read they came out with this stuff called K2 and its legal but they say its like pot . Its not, it has been dipped in incense and various things, and people are smoking this stuff because they want to smoke pot. These were all adults I saw on the news. But designer drugs oh brother. Everytime I watch the tube there is a drug commercial. What a mess.

Cocaine, crack, heroin, Ecstasy, Meth, Morphine, etc... all drugs that would be legal... not sure people would use them less just because they're are freely available. Even alcohol is used in excess by many and is addictive.

I just don't know. If they were legal, they would have to be controlled by somebody. I think if someone wants to do those drugs then they should have to sit through a short movies showing what this is doing to your body, your brain. I think heroin is legal in the UK but it gov. controlled and you have to go thru a class on this drug, I think. It used to be that way.So many people are doing these drugs but the bad thing is they are supporting the underground. Supporting killers, and making people powerful because of that money. Whats better, the go rvernment receiving taxes on it or the underworld making billions on it.
