I'm not sure you could say I was a fan, but I did watch it sometimes when I was a kid.

You should be proud, because how they interact with each other is a reflection on you, and how you raised them, and what they were taught. You teach best by example.

I try really hard to show not to hold grudges and to not be mean spirited or unkind. I still believe in doing as you'd like done, not doing what has been done in the negative ways.

My parents seem to have inadvertently taught us how NOT to be. It was a valuable lesson that some of us learned from better than others.

By their negative example, we became determined to better people. I'm sure they didn't set out to do that, and it wasn't all bad, as we did learn manners, even if it reinforced in a not so nice way, foe example. Elbows on the table during dinner was occasionally corrected by throwing a salt shaker at the offender.

I get exactly what you're saying, but never understood the big deal about elbows on table. Who got to make that rule for everyone? lol
And...even if you were show what you didn't want to do or be...you learned!
