Should America get involved in Syrian conflict?
As many know the conflict in Syria has been going on for over a year. According to reports over 19 thousand has died. Last week a report has came out that President Obama has secretly authorized support rebels in this Civil War. I for one don't understand why is he trying to involve America in a conflict that's none of our business in my opinion. I feel for the Syrian people. But I feel this is an issue that Europe & the Middle East should be handling not America. We are still recovering financially. We just brought back the Troops from Iraq. We are slowly pulling out of Afghanistan. Why get involved...

Ugh..
Remember when clothes were modeled by impossibly-great-looking

Is it time once again to question the wisdom of allowing assault rifles?
In the wake of the shooting of dozens of theater patrons in Colorado, and the killing of at least 12 people, a republican congressman questioned why nobody else had a gun to stop the murderer. The man had an assault rifle with over a hundred rounds. The congressman did, not, however, question the wisdom of allowing people to arm themselves with assault rifles.

This, to me, is like blaming victims of a cruise ship sinking because they didn't carry their own rafts on board.

A little River cruise
Did a little 5 hour trip on a paddle steamer on the River Murrey,3 0f us were going, the other two pulled out for health related reasons.I nearly didn't go,but the though of just hanging around home doing nothing exciting,and the trip had already been paid for, I went on my own,so glad I did ,lovely friendly people ,nice home cooked lunch ,and the weather for the most part was cold but good.It was an hours drive getting there ,and worth every minute of it.[You must be registered and logged...
