How 'bout that ?!? I hadn't heard anything about it 'til just now
when I say this article![You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Now that I see the photos it doesn't seem quite so silly an idea ! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And it is lovely... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

"NOGALES - The new 18-foot border fence along the Arizona-Mexico border
has already been broken through - and it's not even completely installed yet." [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

New border fence: Arizona plans its own 200-mile fence
New border fence? Arizona legislators are trying to raise money for a
new border fence with Mexico. They hope to start construction by year
end.

build a new border fence, in addition to the federal fencing, along the

Tater, you are correct. 200 miles.
Since only 18 of those 200 are installed, WHY would anyone need to break through?

Hi, Tater,
Yup, but the area where the cross/sneaks take place is not.
Of course... nah.
If they were gonna change the route they woulda already. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Here's one thing I don't get: Lots of people pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to smugglers to get them across the boarder. Why don't they just buy a plane ticket, tell customs that they are going on vacation, and then just disappear?
Well, cuz those people are paying to come here to the
U.S. If you take a commercial flight here you gotta
show a passport/visa/whatever both boarding in Mexico
and definitely going through customs here in the U.S.
If you're vacationing here you are gonna need a Visa.
Disappear here then and they WILL look for you.
It is much easier if they don't know you are here at all. Ever..
I haven't any problem with the every day, run-of-the-mill
person/people looking for a decent life.
I don't want to live in Mexico; certainly not in the conditions
many of them endure there.
But, I by God! want them to keep those thugs of theirs at home.
Seriously. Those monsters give a whole new scope to "animals".
A "Shoot On Sight!" order works for me. Also the coyotes.
