Are you are ever amazed at the fruits (or veggies)... :: Comments
i was amazed last year, tomatos came up all by themselves ,and were lovely. unfortunately early heat wave killed them off. this year ,they don't look so good. spring onions ok though .
Roxanna, I had tomatoes come back on their own. It was when I just didn't bother to clean out my garden. lol Best thing I ever did not do!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This year, I have pumpkin growing from a pumpkin that was left outside all winter. lol It looks really good!
Some of the tomatoes are doing well, and the peppers too, while others seem to not want to grow up.

Lots of plants will reseed themselves from fruits or veggies left in the garden the previous year, if the conditions are right.
Tater, that is for sure! lol I have great luck just letting the plants plant themselves.
So.. how are the flowers doing?

The flowers are doing almost as well as the weeds!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] At first, my thoughts were "what the hell is he talking about?!"
It's good the flowers are doing almost as good! lol
We've got lots of tomatoes, peppers, and onions ... but this heat is taking its toll. They could use a little rain. We've also had a nice crop of grasshoppers. (pesky little devils).
It's been a while since I saw any grasshoppers. I almost forgot about them til now.
It looks like I am getting all the rain while others wish they could have some! I really wish I could send some to all of you who actually want it!

The flowers are doing okay, but the weeds are growing faster than the flowers! It's hard to keep up with them!
Maybe you could pretend the weeds are your flowers and just be proud of them too? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I try that sometimes, until the weeds just can't be ignored or passed off as flowers any longer. lol
