It's the time of year that many make plans for vacations or travelling...or just some summer fun...what have you got planned?

Things are going pretty good overall. My sister is here from California for about 20 days, and it's been nice to have her around. At times, It's also nice to know that she will be leaving soon, before she wears out her welcome. Sometimes, even good things are best taken in small doses.

I think that's how it is with most people... we love them and are really happy to see them, but too much together time wears it a bit thin. Twenty days is a long time if one is staying in the same home. lol

I have two I am home schooling yet and now babysit my two years old granddaughter. Things get pretty busy when the school year starts since I have to pick my grandson up after school each day and do all the normal things at home...throw in my businesses I am starting and my night job three days a week... it's going to be a bit of a rush!!

Both business are doing okay. I plan on putting out an ad for more cleaning once the new year is begun. My first client hired me to come twice as often now. There's just not a lot of extra time with a night job too.

Then the only positive is the contribution towards social security, but if it doesn't pay much and they are cutting your hours, you could probably make more cleaning a few extra hours here and there.

But then, it sounds like that is already in your plans.

As you can see, I'm planning to continue being a smart ass. I have to be true to my roots!

I already rode about 15 miles along a trail through a local park, where it's nice and shady, even in the middle of the day, and it follows a creek, so it's always a little cooler.

I am thinking about heading downtown later this afternoon to visit the Art Museum (phila. Museum of Art)

I am going to be taking my kids to an art museum next month when a new exhibit is all set up. I think they might appreciate it and understand it more now that they are older. One can hope!!
I miss bike riding. Lately, either too humid or raining! Sounds like you have the perfect area for bike riding!

I can deal with the 50's but 30's are way too low for me, for early fall. The good news is, I can guarantee warm weather will be back. Probably in less than 6 months!

Not going so well with keeping warm. Today, frost on the car windows! I am so not used to that and forgot about it!!

It's sure getting colder, but not quite as cold as there. Low of 40 last night, high 30's tonight. Today's high is a quite balmy 51. I'm doing well and also keeping busy but not as busy as you are. Hope you still manage to get some coffee sipping time to yourself. How are all the little rug rats?

Coffee time is less... the early morning time is about half of what it used to be. I seem to be more tired most days now! Really looking forward to my days going back to normal in another year or so. lol
Other than that. I will be done working nights by Christmas time and that is already going to make for a good change!
I can't say you're temperatures are really much different than here...High of 54 today. 44 tonight? That isn't too bad! Saturday will be a low of 26, but Sunday a bit warmer again.
Might have a fire pit meal one last round before winter really gets here.
All the munchkins are doing well! smile2

How's all with your family?

Mostly doing well it seems. My older Brother (60) had a stroke last week, but after surgery to remove the clot, there doesn't seem to be any permanent damage. Other than that, I believe everyone else is relatively healthy.

I'm doing well. Mom's still driving me crazy, but I am getting therapy weekly to help me deal with the stress in my life, etc. Physically, I'm doing great. I really haven't felt or been this healthy in a long time, maybe even since we've known each other. I'm at my ideal weight, I'm in shape, I exercise every day, I eat right, I have a positive outlook on life, and am optimistic for the future. But meanwhile, I know I have to live life one day at a time. The past is gone, and we don't know yet what the future holds for us.

OMG! I thought you were lost forever! lol
I've had some changes in my life and more are coming! So...a bit busy, but on things more at home and less work outside of home til after January. Going to then concentrate on cleaning business and use my selling business as a more fun and pass time thing until I have things the way I want them.

I'm doing well, busy at the wrong times notwithstanding. Got 14 teeth pulled a few weeks ago in preparation for dentures, a full upper and partial lower. Looking forward to being able to chew again in about 5 more weeks!
