Another ! cutie!
Yes. Also, lunch, dinner and snacks. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
(I serve myself - or Greg and I - and visa versa.)
We mostly eat in his room with the T.V. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Only if I make it myself ,which rather defeats the point of it.
oh..yes... One mothers day my son ,age about 6 at the time, told me to stay in bed cause he was making break fast, much activity and cluttering going on,and eventually he arrived, beaming from ear to ear,and proudly presented me with a HUGE plate pilled high with vegemite and raw onion sandwiches... OMG !! what to do ??? so I told him i'd like coffee, whilst he was doing that i quickly wrapped the sandwiches in news paper and stuffed them under my bed, daintily nibbling on the last one when he arrived with the coffee ! ...and that was my one and only breakfast in bed, and I must say it was a memorable one !if there were any others they paled in significance and were lost in obscurity

Roxanna, that really is hilarious!! When little children offer things like that... my mind is like.. "Oh no! What is that child going to do?!" lmao!! And the wonderful part of it all... they never cease to amaze me with what they come up with! lol
I don't get breakfast in bed. Seems that since I am such an early riser, nobody cares to attempt that. lol

I can relate to the early riser bit, I'm always up early, besides breakfast in bed is only good if you are sharing it
this son is now 46 and a brilliant cook ,I just LOVE it when it's his turn, and yes, he's still experimental .

Could you possibly send your son here for a week? lol
Maybe he could make things we don't normally have.
Keep in mind.. I am NOT thinking selfishly about the part of me not cooking for a whole week! lol
I think most things are better.. when shared.

We are not including chocolate in this are we ???
Why not chocolate?!
Are you one who only shares what doesn't matter much to you? lmao!!

I'll share my heart:hrt: ,my joy myfood :frs:my money my empathy ,even my coffee .....chocolate if it's milk ...BUT sharing my dark chocolate is pushing it a bit !!
You really ARE a problem child! lol
I suppose.. just maybe.. you should be allowed one thing that you can keep for yourself. lol

you just gave me a flash back ,we didn't have much when I was kid,and little things (by todays standards) meant a lot, once in a while mum let me buy some little treat that I didn't have to share ,it was just for me,felt so special, when I was older I often took my younger brothers out with me,or gave them a treat ,I really think having been given something to myself gave me a sense giving to others, rather than being selfish.
I think you're right. Sharing is great, but so is having that something you can have just for you.
I'm still working on not feeling guilty about having something just for me. lol

LOL breezey ,you must be a mother ,everybody else first, but you can treat yourself without disadvantage to your loved ones..
Take it in small steps, you'll get there !
"Breakfast in bed" ??? ... No, I don't think so ... If I want my carrots, I have to go get them myself!

Breakfast in Bed.. It's been years since that happened.. When my kids were little they bought me brekky in bed on my birthday and mother's day.. One year they picked orange and yellow calendulas and placed them around the outside of my cup and i had to drink my tea through the flowers.. I miss the cute little things they did as children..
