A woman is loading her car and puts the baby, in a carrier on the roof of the vehicle. She is talking the whole while on a cell and gets in and drives off with the baby on the roof!!! People are yelling and chase her down at a stop light!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Wow! That's ... scary.
About the worst thing I've left on top of my car is my Pepsi...
it makes a hell of a mess... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I do set everything on top to unlock the car - I've lost my favorite lighter
(and, I suppose, my cigarettes; they were most-likely together) that way. I definitely
remember the lighter. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It was engraved with "Thank you for holding your breath while I smoke."
(A friend gave it to me - he thought the "anti" attitude was getting out of hand.)
"Interesting" sense of humor.
BUT ... I never ! forgot Greg was there.
Probably dumb luck; fear of my Mother [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] and the fact that I always
had at least one hand in him. (I went through a LOT! to get him, ya know. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.])
Pleeeze tell me the child was rescued safely...?

Ya know... the key words are probably "cell phone".
Those things are a huge health and safety hazzard.
Children who TEXT-MESSAGE from behind the wheel
while driving, for instance... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Not to mention the jackass with the camera ! -who could have
avoided a LOT of panic - and endangering the child! by just
telling the woman she forgot the baby.
Moron.
I have come to despise those people with video cameras.
This one thought of You-Tube before a child. };>

I have watched that video a few times now and get the idea Yahoo did it to see what the reactions would be. Big give away? That Yahoo sticker stuck on the car. lol I'm thinking there wasn't even a baby in that seat at all.

Is that so?
That ! sucks! (So does yapoo ! - IMO.)

Yes, I believe so, too. Who would be training their camera at someone like that, and as fast as that woman took off, the carrier would have slid off.
Dirty rotten trick!!
Dirty rotten trick!!
Ah. Well..
Good news = the child was never in danger.
Bad news = people are idiots. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think it was done just to see how people would react and YES...the cell phone is definitely something that causes many to be forgetful and less watchful of what they are doing.
Iwant "them" to OULAW! -and ENFORCE - cell phone use
when driving!
Personally it would be FINE with me if everyone only used
them for emergencies.

What Ja'aj said! Every time I see one of these videos, I have to stop and ask: "Now, WHY in the world, would someone be standing there in that place, at that time ... filming this?" The credibility of the YouTube crowd is highly in question. They really think that people are guilible these days. (Apparently, many of them ARE!) Beware of photoshop pictures and contrived videos ... things may not always be what they seem.

Hey, Daisy! Oh, it's easy to be fooled ... I know! Upon first seeing some of those things ... you can't help but be amazed. Sometimes, you just have to ask youself if it really makes common sense ... and also, you have to wonder at what the real purpose of someone making such a video ... really IS. These days, the media (and others) often times has an agenda behind the stuff they put out there.
I'm not feeling quite as "deprived" re: YouTube
at this moment. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Ya want Garfield to work on "Ole Mo" for ya? He's good! He worked on my system, a while back ... his methods are a bit "old skool" ...

they are outlawed to use while driving here, and it's a hefty fine, but doesn't seem to make much difference, i have seen young people, old people ,males and females (there does not seem to be predominantly any specific group of people) happily yaking away, while going around corners, making right turns at busy intersections etc...catching them at it is the problem.Ja'aj wrote:Iwant "them" to OULAW! -and ENFORCE - cell phone use

If you can see them the police can see them. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
