Someone starts a thread and before you know it, the subject takes a nose-dive, completely off-course. Then it turns into a conversation between two or more members about something else entirely. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to respond here with an entirely different subject. You can talk about your cucumber garden, your pet hyena, the weather, what's on TV, likes-dislikes, etc. Better yet, have a conversation with one or more of the other members about things you want to talk about which have nothing to do with the original post. You can rest assured that it will be read. Remember, the one who changes the subject the furthest WINS.

I loved watching old movies when I was a kid. Gene Kelly was a wonderful dancer.

He sure was, and he was from Philly. His daughter was very popular here as well, especially after she became Princess Grace of Monaco. I believe that just like another very popular princess, she died in an unfortunate accident. One of the main roads through Fairmount Park, one of the largest urban parks in the U.S., was renamed after her (Kelly Drive, formerly East River Drive).

There's not much chance of that ever happening.. lol. Dancing in the Dark there.. - The Boss. Bruce Springsteen was a fabulous singer and fun to dance to his music.. even if I am not a princess.

Bruce IS a great singer - He's still around! He was born and raised not too far from here, in Long Branch, New Jersey, which is on the Jersey shore, about 73 miles away.

It's sort of related, because Jersey cows (I believe) are named for the same region in England that NEW Jersey was named after. But remember, the topic is "Stay Off-topic", so off-topic is on-topic, and if we are on-topic, then we are off the topic of being off-topic. However, if we are off-topic, then we are on-topic, but if we are on-topic then we are...Wait a minute...huh?
