Do parents own kids or just have them on lend...to raise and take care of..to do a good job of... to make kids the best they can be...or do parents own kids like property?

I don't think parents own their children, but I do think they have an obligation to raise them to the best of their ability, to give them a good start in life, and to do everything in their power to make sure they have the tools necessary to become productive and happy adults.

Yes, especially from the time they become teenagers, until they have kids of their own.

We don't "Own" our children. They are ours to Love and care for. Yes.. they are kind of on lend I guess. but if you create a loving environment that they can always come back to.. they will and do. The teenage years test the relationship big time and children believe their parents know nothing... lol.. but it's funny how we all eventually take on aspects of our parents characters. As Tater says.. When our children have children of their own, that is when they begin to understand that just maybe, their parents were actually right about some things..... Please don't let my Mum know I said this!!!!!!!!!!! (-:
