Someone starts a thread and before you know it, the subject takes a nose-dive, completely off-course. Then it turns into a conversation between two or more members about something else entirely. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to respond here with an entirely different subject. You can talk about your cucumber garden, your pet hyena, the weather, what's on TV, likes-dislikes, etc. Better yet, have a conversation with one or more of the other members about things you want to talk about which have nothing to do with the original post. You can rest assured that it will be read. Remember, the one who changes the subject the furthest WINS.

Have you seen this

Most of us see airport security as a pain. Some of us even feel violated.

Cell phone guns have arrived. And they are real.
Beneath the digital phone face is a .22 caliber handgun capable of firing four rounds in rapid succession using the standard telephone keypad. European law enforcement officials are stunned by the discovery of these deadly decoys. They say phone guns are changing the rules of engagement in Europe .
Only when you have one in your hand do you realize that they are heavier than a regular cell phone.

Be patient if security asks to look at your cell phone or turn it on to show that it works . They have a good reason! Wake up to our NEW WORLD!! We shouldn't complain about airport security invading your privacy.

It has started, for about a week now. Victorino had a sore shoulder the first few days, but he seems to be alright now. he's doing pretty good.

Jack, you may need to adjust the time on your preferences, under your profile. You also have to change it from winter time to summer time for daylight savings.

Jack, at the top of the page, click on profile. Then choose preferences and go to the very bottom. There you will see the time preferences. If you still need help, let us know.

Well if they are too green, they will ripen eventually, but you can't unripen the rotten ones.

They are shorter, sweeter, and when you harvest them, you cut down the tree also as the tree will keep suckering back up. They ripen quickly and boy they make great banana bread.I forget how long it takes once the tree gets cut down, maybe 9 months but they grow in a group so when you take one tree down soon another one will be ready to harvest.

I love mangoes. Funny story, my mom tells me that her mom always called green bell peppers mangoes. Nobody seems to know why!

Maybe because the mango starts off green but then ripens. Tater, you should see the mango trees in Lahaina. Because Lahaina is hotter than anywhere else, they are huge trees. Thats funny your story.
