Kind of like a small scale worm farm?

I've never done that, but get plenty of worms in my flower beds and wherever else they like the conditions.

Is there a reason you are thinking about worms, in particular?

yes breezey, i'm considering wormfarming for the vertiliser ,it sounds simple enough, but i would like some advice other than some one selling it .

I'm still a little lost here, but this site has a lot of information about worms and worm farming. It has a lot to do with waste management?

breezey have mail already, the news letter comes out wednesdays,also they gave a link to check out keeping chooks, oddly enough, i have been thinking about that for some time as well.the main reason i've not done anything about it is the back yard is in shade during winter ,except for a small strip along the back fence that still gets a little bit of sunshine, and total sun in summer,when it is really hot.ok .i can protect them in summer, but the poor little buggas need at least some sun in winter to. sunny
