Gee Roxanna... even that is going to be different for each person. I only know what it was like for me and also know that it wasn't the normal that everyone else did.

For some, dating never stops. They're willing to keep trying. For others, it stops and they never want to date again.

i was thinking maybe in the teens it's all fun and exploration, 20 more serious, like looking for life time partners, by the the 30s maybe the second life long partner ..lol.....50s , me time, kids grown up....different things required in partners at different stages of life. i knew a couple met in their 70s, lovely friend ship , they had the agreement no mariage and no sex..worked fine for them...bit diffeent to some one in their 30s .. Wink

Roxanna, young love is more innocent love... for some.
I was married at 17. After that lovely round... dating was a real disappointment... I had no clue what I was really looking for or needed and never had the tools to choose wisely.
Dating now... it's the best it's ever been... I quit dating for about eight years. Dating really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Even now... dating and situations aren't going to be the same for all. lol
Me time won't be in the 50s for everyone.. surely not for me! lmao!!

It's really going to be different for each person... depending on a lot of things...
I'd send a long winded email about this, but won't be posting it all on a public site. lol

I don't think there is any set rule Roxy, like Breezey said its up to the individual as to what they want to do. When I was widowed I sarted to date after awhile, but I really didn't like it. I mean we dated at 19, got married at 21, I forgot how to date, then when I moved here, Naoko just kind of fell into my arms and I never let go. How I got that lucky twice in my life, all I can say is God is good.
