i remember standing in a cot with my brother who was a baby at the time,also standing hanging on to the sides. monkey i had a toy in my hand that i was banging along the top of the cot rail .bro is about 2 yrs younger, so i would have been no older than 3 yrs. flower

I'm not sure about earliest memory... seems hard to realize age on some of them..
one I know for sure was when I was supposed to start kindergarten. My brother had already gone through kindergarten, but didn't want to move on to first grade. He insisted he wanted to stay in kindergarten with me. (we went through kindergarten and all other grades together)

I remember the TV was on, and my mom was crying. I asked her what was wrong, and she said the president was shot. That would have been JFK, and I was just under three at the time.
