A tea bag is a very simple yet useful concept, but I'm not sure if it would be considered a gadget.

The definition for gadget is:

"a small mechanical device or tool, especially an ingenious or novel one."

Hmm. While a tea bag is not a mechanical device, couldn't it be considered a tool (used to brew tea while keeping the tea leaves separate from the brewed tea?

Yeah, that is the one big drawback; whether they are on cars or portable radios, they do break easily if you're not careful.

Hmmm... we have weed eaters...basically to cut weeds where lawn mowers can't reach...close to house, other buildings, trees, etc...
