In a moment of bored inspiration a few years back, YouTube user "SomethingUnreal" tweaked Windows XP and Windows 98 alert messages and bits thereof to create this song.

That turned out really good!

I could have used a bunch of them yesterday! I had to take my car back to the garage for the 4th time in less than a year for the same problem that they can't get fixed right.Luckily Ford Co. is paying for all this + the cost of the car rental.It always happens when we are a couple of hundred mile from home too. I am not a happy traveler!(FROWN!)

Sneaky, I'm curious about what the problem is. Seems certain Fords used as cabs, which are mostly former police cruisers, have the same situation as far as nobody being able to fix it.

Tater This is a 08 Mercury Milan, and it happened again just today ,5th time now the Temp Guage wil go to HOT and eng. warning light comes on,but doesn't really get hot.T he engine hesitates and tach. goes to 5-6 thous. RPM when going up a steep grade and trys to bog down. Alwys happens in a extreemly hilly area . Hope i don't get in hot water(no pun intended) for telling my problems on here,but a Smile would come in handy!

I think I'd venture to guess maybe there's a problem with the shift solenoid, as far as the revs and bogging down on the hills, if I didn't know any better...you do know that FORD stands for fix or repair daily, right? Yeah yeah, yours is a Mercury, same diff.

However, when you combine that problem with the temp gauge thing, I'd almost be willing to wager there's something wrong with the computer, and they're trying to avoid replacing it while it's still under warranty. The dag nag-it sons of bastages!

Tater Thanks for the info. My dad thought it may be the radiator just not recycling right,but i told him it never really overheated ,but i did notice that at some time before i bought it it may have as it looks like the overflow tank is discolored all the way to the top same color as the antifreeze. I am on Edmunds.com with a person on this also. Thanks again SMILE!!!
