I'm using Firefox, and yes, it is the browser I normally use, ever since I discovered Adblock, thanks to a certain friend.

I love it, and really don't understand why everybody doesn't use it. My ex boss said she likes seeing some of the ads; my opinion of her fell considerably when she said that!

I think some feel they owe it to certain sites to see the ads and help with bringing in money, but I thought that happened even with ad block?
And some just like seeing things they might want to buy, etc...
I have become a bit of a pro at ignoring ads on internet and daily life. lol

I got a new computer this week, and the first thing I did was download Firefox so I don't have to see the ads!

I downloaded the Firefox browser so that I could add adblock plus as an add-on.
As far as I know, adblock still isn't available for IE, and generally, PC's come loaded with IE as the only browser option.

I use Chrome. Seems to me too many complained about IE and many sites will tell people it doesn't work well on their sites.

I just found out that Adblock Plus is available for Internet Explorer!

Howdy !

I use Chrome, have adblock, but still get adds, I don't mind if they quietly sit at the side and don't jump out at me or jiggle about,infact ,sometimes I actually look at them !
I still have IE and firefox, but never use them, one of these days I'll see what I've got in there and delete them.

Breezey, I know it's available for a number of browsers, but until very recently, it was not available for IE.

Roxy, there is a setting by default on ABP that allows some ads to show, which seems to me to defeat the purpose. But if you click on their icon, you can set it to block all ads.

I would have thought so too, but I think there may have been resistance on Microsoft's part.
