I think we might want to start checking into weeds and other things growing that we normally never look at.
"Purslane also called Munyeroo and Pigweed" I have something like that growing quite well outside and inside my garden. I believe it started growing from the organic fertilizer I used.

Looks like purslane is a very nutritious weed! High in antioxidants and omega-3, vitamin A and C...

Well, in many parts of the world, plants like purslane aren't considered weeds at all, they are food! Also, all of our major food crops started off as wild plants.
