Re: omlets anybody ?
First, how do you want yours to look? From what I am seeing, some fold them in half and others are a little more fancy.
I am more of a simple person. lol I do them my way, but everybody loves them and asks me to make them.
I don't add milk. I just whisk the eggs until I feel they're mixed well. I heat a non stick pan and dump the eggs in. No butter or spray. I also make sure I use a pan that is appropriate size for the amount of eggs... if the pan is too big, the eggs spread out too much. (Make sure any fillings you are going to use are cut up and ready, BEFORE you start heating the pan. lol)
I pour the eggs in, wait and watch, every so often picking up the edges to let the uncooked egg run to the outside. When I see the eggs are almost done, I load one half of it with all the fillings. And I load a lot! I fold the other half over the fillings, let sit for a short time, then flip it and let sit a short time... maybe half a minute... and it's done!
Not sure this is how many others do it, but it definitely appeals to everyone who sees mine.

Yep, that's how you do it. The key is to make sure the pan is hot before you put the eggs in (you can pour in a tiny amount of egg in the pan, and if it doesn't start to sizzle almost immediately, it's not ready), keep it on medim high (not medium), and DON't try to flip it before the edges are starting to bubble and firm up.
thanks for the advice ,I will definately keep in mind for the next omelet, maybe todays lunch.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You mean the fact that a rooster is laying eggs?

Okay... I DID notice that, but kind of ignored it. lol
Is that an example of the impossible being possible?
It's a rooster? It may be a hermaphrodite,IT has the wattle of a rooster ,looks like a hen ,and lays eggs !!!
That's the "problem" I refer too, yes. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
In general... (?) I've been given to understand
that HENS - not roosters - lay eggs.
Still... it's cute... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

"Is that an example of the impossible being possible?"
Yup, it is. And in the customary way, too.

Well ya know, they just had an article on Yahoo about a guy who was a father of 6, who found out that he was actually a female....
Sorry I have to correct you, you're thinking of the National Enquirer; The Inquirer is actually a respected Philadelphia newspaper.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Oh b-boy - my apologies to The Inquirer.
(I had no idea there was another... *er* Inquirer. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.])
Yes, indeedy - I mean/meant (?) The NATIONAL Inquirer.

The Inquirer is a Pulitzer prize winning publication;
the Enquirer, not so much.
