I just stack 'em, usually... "it depends"...
(I will scrape the chunks off, if any...)
It's a real chore to get anyone but Greg (he knows! how I get)
to even STACK 'em! Here a dish; there a cup - and viola!

I usually rinse the ones that will have a lot stuck on and direct everyone else on how it's done. lol

Being as my wife lets me do the dishes,they are hand washed ,rinsed and dried right after each meal. I bought a sign and hung it by the sink "No husband has ever been shot for doing the dishes" scared smiley

i don't know how this kitchen gets into such a mess !!
was a bit better when my son stayed for a while ,but now he's gone ,the dishes do what ever they like !! thinking

I generally rinse the dishes right away, so that they just need to be sanitized afterward, and they only have to be washed, not scrubbed.

sneaky, we had a good system going, cook one meal, get one free !! whose ever turn to cook, provided ingredients and cooked, meal of his/her choice, and the dishes were done by the non cook .my son is an excellent cook , I'll wash his dishes any time !!

Actually my wife prefers Arbys,or Taco Bell ,but in a pinch any will do to keep from cooking or doing the dishes. happy dance
