Its been a long time ago. You have never seen one, WOW.
Is that a target?
Whatever happened to the McNess man? Did one ever come to your house to sell products?

We never had a Mcness man, but we did have a guy that came around and sold ties. In a house that had my dad and six boys, he did a pretty good business.
Breezey, that thing is what you used to see after the end of the broadcast day, before most channels started broadcasting around the clock, or showing infomercials all night. I forget what it was called, but it was often accompanied by an annoying continuous beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep... I guess the purpose was to wake you up and let you know it was time to go to bed.

Whatever happened to Prell shampoo? (it's concentrated!)
I was thinking about Brylcream. How greasy your hair would get, but it smelled good.
I think it's just that the slick look is out, although it seems to make a comeback occasionally in certain circles.
How about Twister? Do they even make that game anymore?

Yeah Jack, I just don't remember ours ever looking like that. More plain... big circle with some stupid thing in it and that was it.
I do believe that in later years, it was in color, so you could adjust the colors on your set. For years, the color level and tint wasn't set automatically out of the box like it is now. Their was an adjustment knob for green, red and blue. If you had one or the other off kilter, people would appear green or purplish!
Floppy drives for floppy discs... I have the discs, but they don't make computers with the drives for them anymore!!
Floppy discs were replaced by CD drives. CD's hold a heck of a lot more data.
