Today... I learned there are purple carrots. I never knew there were colors other than orange! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

For maybe ten years. I have had yellow carrots, but have never actually seen the white, red or purple ones in real life.

Well, I will be looking for different colored carrots, but seriously doubt I will find them in the regular grocery stores.

i have known about them ever since just now !!
they look amazing , i wonder if there is much difference in their nutritional values, probably less carrotene and more of something else.
will ask about them next time i'm at the farmers market.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know about colored carrots! lol
I read a little about the different ones and they did have differences.. just don't remember exactly what they were.... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
