I would think it would be easy to not let words hurt, if you don't give a damn about the person saying them or don't have a soft heart. If words truly couldn't hurt, nobody would feel the need to say a lot of things that get said all the time in this world.

Ahh
I think we all at one time use words as a weapon .
I do & not proud of it .

Sometimes people think if you say it , its not as bad as hitiing .

OR , if a person isnt near , you use words that express nearest thing to anger

Conversely, perhaps a lot more truth and honesty would be
expressed if people weren't aware of the power of words to hurt.
I think most people, most of the time, are careful of others.

words have temendous power to hurt,however, if the same person deliberately says hurtful things ,they soon lose their power.
tater, if the pen is mightier than the sword, why are we still using swords ?
