yep !!! i remember playing little league baseball,and when our team won a game, our manager gave us a lift home on the back of a tow truck !!! couldnt afford a bus or van, but the entire neighborhood knew when we won cause we didnt walk home !! it was cool !!! fire marshmallow

fishing w/grandpa and uncles is still a fond memory and i wish i could slip back there just a while !!!
and i do share it with kids today, like , telling about before there were mp3's there was 8tracks,cassettes, reel to reel,walkmans etc.... they say it's Dino !!!! (thats cool)!!!

Once in a great while... it happens. We head to a park and meet other family members there. Before we leave, I lay down some basic rules...
No computers, no cell phones, no radios or other music devises... basically... no electronics.
Do NOT ask me how long we'll be gone or what time we'll be back.
We pack a lunch and drinks, frisbees, volley ball, books to read, etc...
The day is spent playing games, reading, taking walks, just sitting around visiting, napping, catching fish with nets, etc...
I think we'll be aiming for more days like that. smile2
