Things you have to ask for at the grocery store

What products do you have to ask for at your grocery store that aren't kept out on the shelves?

Here, it's baby formula and tobacco products. These items are kept behind the courtesy desk.
(it may differ at other stores)

i will ask for a certain type of cut on meat or ordering and picking up the turkey come turkey day , but yes you have to ask for any tobacco product, its funny but we always did have to ask for a pack of smokes back in those good ole days.They always had them behind the counter although the grocery stores had cartons of them on the shelf, very easy to get to.

Baby formula because it's so expensive, and often shoplifted. Personally, I think it's a crime that they charge so much. And also that so many mothers use it instead of the best baby formula on earth, which is mother's milk.

Tater, they charge so much because it's a need. Many women don't breastfeed because modern life really doesn't invite such things anymore. Women need to work, people complain about having to SEE that... even if it's discreet and babies don't wait for anything when they're hungry. It's takes time, patience and now.. a place. So... many buy formula and are told it's so much better!

I've always thought people who complain about breastfeeding have more problems than meets the eye. It's one of the most natural things you can do, and I also believe that not breastfeeding can lead to many problems for the child, including a lot of allergies because the child is not being exposed to them though his mother's milk, and illnesses because he's not getting his mother's antibodies either.

Well I wonder if you have to ask for mother's milk cheese. Yes, I saw it on the news, I thought I would puke. What next???
