Ummm...yes I did! I went outside and checked my newest garden and my other ones. I sat outside and just enjoyed the beginning of the day... and I sucked up coffee!

Well, I got good news today; after having cataract surgery on my left eye last Friday, my corrected vision (with glasses) is 20/10! (That's even better than 20/20)
The only catch is, I have to wait 4 weeks until I get the same surgery for my right eye, before I can get new glasses, and in the meantime, I can't use my old glasses because they're too strong.
But at least I can read better without glasses than I could in a long time. So once I get a new prescription, both my distance and close up vision will be far better than it was before my surgeries.

Yeah, it's kind of given me a new outlook on life (pun intended), and I've decided that once I'm done with the second surgery and get my new glasses, I'm going to make the most of the opportunity. One thing I want to do is get back into photography.

That's great news Tater. (: You'll be a new man when you have both eyes done. I would hate to lose my sight of all my senses.

Me too, Lorry. Breezey, my eyesight was a problem ever since I had the surgery for the detached retina. Since the macula was also detached, the vision in my right eye has never been quite the same, and I had been developing cataracts in both eyes since then as well.
