I prefer mayonnaise, personally.

Tater,
Here, it is a fifty-fifty split - for me, it depends
on what it is going to be used in, for, on... ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sometimes all the "eggy" in mayonnnaise upsets my
stomach and sometimes Miracle Whip doesn't have
the same ability that mayonnaise has to enhance flavor.
I'm glad I have both to chose from.
(Now ... why does it bother me to end that with a preposistion?)
"From which to chose" sounds stilted. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I'm just barely awake... never mind... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Good morning/good afternoon Tater!
"?" - When will you know for sure? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
"Choice" is usually a good thing...
Maybe "we" just need to be more careful of the
options we offer ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I was just suggesting an alternate way of phrasing your statement, without having to end the sentence with a preposition. Not that it matters to me!

Aha!! Japanese mayonnaise! We have friends who send us Japanese chips and candy and such... we may have to ask for Kewpie mayonnaise so we can try it.

Hi Eink!
Um... "Miracle Whip" is a Kraft brand product similar to mayonnnaise -
but without the high egg content and with a bit more "bite".
It began (I think ?) as an alternative to mayonnaise.
In any case, my household tries to always have both in the 'fridge.
Here (my opinion - and just-about everyone'sin this region, I think)
The mayonnaise brand of choice is Best Foods.
I try to find a decent - and a LOT!! less expensive - alternative. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sometimes ya just gotta go with the brand name, though.
"Kewpie" I love the name already! - is unfamiliar to me.
Kinda like "Miracle Whip" is to you, huh? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Here, the most popular brand of mayonnaise is Hellman's. I always assumed it was a nationally known brand, but based on the comments here, maybe not?

Tater,
No, I'm familiar with Hellman's! Good stuff!
I don't remember from where, I don't see it here.
Huh.
Now I'm curious.
