Several years ago, I decided to splurge on myself, and I bought a western-style, fringe leather coat. My Dad had one a long time ago, and I always liked the one he had. Of course, there are only a very few times during the year one can wear such a thing in Texas! I wore it to a couple of concerts in the winter. It smells great and it is very warm!

Jack, my Harley jacket is a lot like the one you posted... just dark brown with the fringe like that.. plus a soft softail Harley at the bottom. I really love that jacket!

I got a pair of leather gloves ones, and my brother bought me a leather jacket when I first moved back here from Florida, since he rightly assumed I didn't have a warm winter coat.

The lovely thing about leather is it lasts just-about forever!
The not-so-great thing about it is - it costs a FORTUNE!
to have cleaned - and not everyone does that.
(Also, I think it's "windbreaker" properties are exaggerated, just a bit...)
