Ronald M. Finer, 59, of Lahaina, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on May 18, 2010, with his loving wife, Naoko Makino-Finer, at his side. He was born December 20, 1950, in Carthage, NY. He was a former landscaper. He was an avid swimmer, hiker, loved music and teaching marital arts. He graduated from Carthage High School and relocated to the Russian River Valley in California with his wife, Angela Peluso-Finer, who predeceased him. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Stuart and Elizabeth Finer, of Clinton, NY, and Robert and Elizabeth Finer, of Novato, CA; his nieces and nephews, Andrew Finer and Julie (Finer) Piper, of Rochester, NY, and Jerry and Cherish Finer, of California; and his dear friend, Anthony Rodriguez, of Maui.
