Problems and blessings

Can we become so busy thinking about all that is wrong and start to forget what's good and right? For each problem or things we see wrong.. we should try to find a blessing or things that are right?

It's so hard to do that Breezey for me. I take the bad and churn it around for days before letting it go. I need to look at all the good things. I wish I could get a hold of Roxy as she deals in aura's and positive energy flow, she is a Reiki MASTER, and wanted to help me, but I have no way to e mail her. I tried one e mail she posted but it did not work.

As for the rest, if you dwell on the bad, that is all you will see. I hate living here, but also know there is a lot to be thankful for. I may dislike my landlord, but I have a home for me and my children.
I can find good, even with the bad.

OK, I will try that. I can find the good here too, I mean it's not like Maui is a bad place to live, it's beautiful here. It has very much helped me to heal but sometimes from outside sources I get angry as I try and help them and they turn everything I said around and make me out to be their problem, then I blame everything. I need to just let that go, but damn it, its so hard. I wish I had your mind set.

Ron, I once had no mind set. I once thought I had nothing to look forward to or to be happy about. I thought I would never see anything as worthwhile or good. Basically, I got through the days, but had nothing to look forward to, nothing to make me feel life was worth living. I had to change the way I saw things and work on changing the things that made me feel that way. It took a lot of work and a long time. Nothing comes easy, but I have learned to always appreciate the good and never take it all for granted. You can call it what you want, but in my case... God picked me up when I never would have done it on my own. Mindset.. yes.. it makes a big difference.

You are amazing Breezey. I would not be here if God had not saved my life. He did it for a reason. How easy I forget that. I really have to look at what I have, what I worked so hard to get, and laugh instead of cry, enjoy life instead of being angry, realize things happen for a reason. Thank you Breezey. Ron, the part of me that some find nutty... all those smileys, only cute and pretty pictures, always trying to find good news... those are things that help me keep seeing the good and smiling. There is enough crap in the world that people can't wait to pass around. I would rather find the good. Guess that's why I gave up television, newspapers and people who never admit there is something good in their lives. All of us have rough times, but only some refuse to admit they have even one worthwhile thing in their lives.
There is always something to be thankful for.
You go through bad times, but you bounce back. You'll be fine Ron.

Thanks Breezey, you are right. Thats what happened to me, I got caught up in my so called friends bad problems and I should know better than to get involved. I had stopped him from always crying to me about his problem but then fell back into his trap. I told him, never again, buh bye. I hate people like that around me. Thats why I come on here, all you guys are so funny, but so intelligent, I feel good over here. I love to have fun, even when I am working. Hey Ron? Just don't forget that sometimes.. everyone has a rough time and needs someone to listen... just not as a constant daily thing for ever.
I feel bad that I let a friend go a long time ago, but he insisted for well over six months that he had nothing good in his life or any blessings.. even though he had two sons who cared about him. People who refuse to see their own children as something worthwhile... that is really sad. i can't deal with people who are never happy and always seeing only the bad.

WELL THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 6 YEARS and it was his idea to move and start a business. Now his wife is going to have a baby and he wants to bail. With friends like that, who needs enemies. Back in those days I never had a computer so he could never e mail me and I hate to write letters, so I never wrote to him. OH E MAIL CAN BE A BAD THING. Well, I just hope he gets the idea.

Six years is definitely long enough!
