Well, you can garden any time, but the Summer Olympics only come around once every four years, right?

Re: Questions Only
Not even the women's gymnastics? Some of it seems more like art, or even ballet than sports, doesn't it?

I am a lot like Lorry. I don't watch television unless I choose the movie and the time to watch it... so... DVD or Netflix is about it....and not very often.

Re: Questions Only
I've never been one to just watch sports... I like to be the one playing. lol I loved baseball with family and friends, but not at school as a required thing. Football and volleyball and such...fun to play...
I just never had fun watching others play sports or all the other things for Olympics.

I wish gardening had of been a required "sport" at school.. lol Don't you think it should be a part of every curriculum?

Re: Questions Only
That might be a good idea as an activity or even as part of the curriculum, but it wouldn't be considered a sport, would it?

Dodge ball...where others try to kill you with the ball? Too many thought the fun was in throwing the ball way to hard! I have no great memories of gym class! Â To me, most of that stuff should have been specialized, like band or choir...not forced.
Gym class should have been more normal exercising, etc...
Am I the only one who thinks so?

Re: Questions Only
Gardening is good exercise.. Doesn't that then classify it as a sport of sorts?

Re: Questions Only
I think gym or phy ed classes depended on what the teachers liked and found worthy...not any of the students' likes or dislikes. If you were lucky, the teacher chose things that interested you.
