Re: RIP, David Bowie
Hmmm... I'd have to look up what songs he had...
I don't recognize many of the titles... then again... I am not much for keeping track of titles or who sings the songs... if I like a song, I like it. That's all.... I do recognize "Let's Dance".
I'd have to say that most likely his music wasn't what I'm really into.

Let's Dance is good, but how about Starman, China Girl, Modern Love, Under Pressure, Fame, Young Americans, Heroes...He also worked with artists as diverse as Bing Crosby, John Lennon, Tina Turner, Mick Jagger and Queen.
He produced a very broad range of music, much of which can't really be categorized in any given genre.

He sung Under Pressure with Queen, and Dancing in the Street with Mick Jagger at Live Aid.

I'm just not that fond of that music....Tater Salad wrote:Let's Dance is good, but how about Starman, China Girl, Modern Love, Under Pressure, Fame, Young Americans, Heroes...He also worked with artists as diverse as Bing Crosby, John Lennon, Tina Turner, Mick Jagger and Queen.

My mama raised me with country and later... I picked up on different music... but some things just don't spark a happy note.
