Time

If moments can last for a lifetime, would you want them to? If so, which ones? And would this then mean you would be missing out on other moments if you were continually experiencing the moment that was lasting forever?

Moments only last a moment.
I'd want to make more moments with special people... even if the special people are strangers waiting to be friends.
It's all those moments of memories that make a whole story worth remembering.

Although the moment may be gone forever its more the lasting impression it leaves imprinted on your life. I remember vividly when each of my children were born, its branded into me forever. Also some less happy events, it all goes to shape the life which follows and your attitude. These events are cumulative for me, one neither detracts or adds to the others, they are separate moments but they all add to our lives and enrich and strengthen it.

Those waves of emotion that follow in the footsteps of these moments can turn us around in a second as if to say "Dont you dare forget me!"

are there 60 moments in a second?
do moments have a beginning and end?
do moments overlap?
The first time I wished a moment would last for ever, was my first real, heart

We often refer to moments in time. I wonder if they are really so linked? In human terms time can crawl by, go slowly, rush, speed, or even sometimes stop. Perhaps "moments" are more a case of exactly where our focus happens to be, and which particular emotion is doing the focusing.

I think people usually get on with life because they have to... not because they
are all better.
Time doesn't cure all things and time can sometimes make things harder to deal with.

I just don't believe every last heartache, emotional hurt, etc... goes away in time.

I think we learn to cope over time, with the things that hurt us deeply.. if only to emotionally protect ourselves. To move on from it. To find forgiveness in your heart for the person/s who hurt you is healing in itself. To try to understand where they were coming from.. what motivated their unkindness in the first place, can be very hard, but can explain a lot.. I find I can deal with things so much better if I know what I am dealing with and WHY.... It is when I cannot understand the reasoning behind people being so hurtful, that keeps me wondering, once again... WHY.
