Not many people know me really well, even if they've known me for 20 years.It's not that I hide large chunks of myself, it's just that they haven't found ém.

I am really surprised and saddemed, I guess. How some people call others their "friends", yet... they don't know even the basics...

Am I easy to know? I think a lot of me is, when time is taken for it. I think.. you probably know enough about me already.. just from the posts we make, emails we share, things I do, etc...

Some people claim others as friends to others and don't even know half of what you know about me... and they live close to those they claim as friends.

I guess the term '' friends '' can be stretched and shaped in many directions,it's a matter of degree. To me friend is a trusting relationship, and a close friend you could trust with your life. friends

Roxanna, I think we are pretty much on the same page. I am just hoping a friend at least knows who you are, if you have any pets, what you like... at least some things, how you are.. character and YES... you feel you can tell a friend things and they can tell you!

now that you've mentioned it ...providing it wasn't a you or them situation, probably all of them..BUT ..if ONE of us had to go..hmmmm...not so sure even what I would do in a situation like that..

I don't have many friends, but I generally prefer quality over quantity, and I believe the friends I have fit this description.

Quality over quantity wins every time ,I've lost my quality long term friends and find it difficult to connect to others,I do meet lots of nice people, but the friendships just aren't happening. Sad
