What would you say Heaven is supposed to be like?

I'm having a slight problem with the fact that many say I won't be doing the things that make me happy now and that I won't need to DO anything.
What are we supposed to do in Heaven?

I think Heaven is for each person what that person wants it to be.

do you really want to sit on a cloud all day playing a harp ? and do we need to learn harp before we go to heaven, or do they have harp teachers there ? no idea what it might be like ,what do you think breezey ?

I'm not sure. Last night, I was kind of joking around... saying I'd still love to have a garden and be around children, etc..
I was informed we won't need gardens and people will all be on the same level. We won't be "people", but more like celestial beings. Not sure exactly what that means.
I said I was going to till up the garden... was told I can't till up God's garden and would have to leave. lol It was joking on both sides, yet... the fact that I won't be tilling up God's garden means something.
I was also told what Heaven would look like. Doors made from pearls, Gold, etc... I said I didn't think I'd like that and was informed it doesn't matter because it's God's place, not mine.

My wife said that it would be better to learn to play the harp then to be in hell roasting marshmallows! The Bible gives a complete description of what Heaven is like! Golden streets ,pearly gates and St Pete to check you in!

Well, gold and pearls have never really been to my liking. lol

Well, I've never been all that musically-inclined, so my harp-playing is probably going to "leave something to be desired," as they say.

Any other options ? hell sounds like HELL !! all those pearls and gems and gold sounds a bit rich for my blood ,i'd be afraid of damaging them !!when you find that garden Breezey, I'll join you there

Some say the purpose of Heaven will be to worship God... day in and day out.... not sure what I think of that......

I believe it will be more spectacular than we could ever imagine. There the feelings of peace and love will be so great as to permeate our souls forever.
