Can and will effect the speed and stability of your browser?

I never gave it much thought until more recently.

add ons and extensions are usually things you choose to add after you choose a browser to use. They are usually found in "tools" at the top of your browser page.

I know JUST what you mean! You take a chance, disabling some of this stuff. I can never tell, when some things are connected -- you disable one thing, and then something else stops working (sometimes, several things!). "Been there, done that" ... and it really makes a bunny "hoppin' mad!" Computer programmers have NO idea how much trouble they cause at times! (Or then again ... maybe they DO!)

Video downloaders offered for your browser, smiley xtras, Cooliris, bit torrents, personas, etc...
All things your browser doesn't have, but are offered to add on.

Sure! (Ol' Mo ya know...)
I have to know! what will *tee-hee-snicker* slow us down.
(Yup, I can tell - and youdamnedbetcha! Mo can and will get slooower)

That's another reason I WUV [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Firefox - Nice, neat, SEPERATE! plugins
container and extensions.
Along with various "types"/"Presets " :MSN, Yahoo, a specific set (there are 3)
or ALL of GMail, & Maliste -my favorite [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Firefox lets you swipe [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I mean BORROW... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] any and add them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].

They are separate and individual and can separately and individually
disabled or deleted without effecting -or affecting- anything else.
A lot of 'em (like their version of screenshot) - 'Fireshot' -
I don't need to use it very often so it's disabled - therefore adding
no weight- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ! for the rest of the time. I just enable it - take a picture -
and disable it again.
AdBlock is IN USE always and so is their 'Just Smile'
(I don't need the Smileys but I WANT 'EM.)
Also, their smileys can be "added onto" so they become part
of the collection. I LIKE! that. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also, I have the "Dictionary.com" toolbar plus a couple of others
that I add & subtract the same way.
Useful - and more useful-er! yet ! to not have them up-&-running
when they're not needed.
OTHERWISE... Ol' Mo would have had a heart attack & died! a long
time ago. (sshhh! Mo is elderly, ya know... Shh!) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
