When you're sick (not feeling well)...

Do people understand or get upset with you?
I was supposed to go to a wedding today, but really am sick. I got told "I knew you'd pull this".
It upsets me that nobody seems to care I am sick, only that I won't be filling one of two hundred seats.

Anybody ever get upset with you for being sick when they wanted you to do something?

I guess they are more concerned about paying for a meal that will not be eaten than they are about your health.

doesn't it make you sick when that happens ??? like it's not enough to be sick, you need to be censured as well !! i got a lot of that when i used to have migraines, people who never had one think it's all made up !!
i'm sure breezey you know how to say yes or no without having to fall back on a fake illness .

It's just upsetting that people only think about what matters to them at the moment.
I can't say I'm any better, but not any worse either. I think that's a good thing. lol

Some people just have no (or very little) compassion.
You can be sure, it would be a totally different story ... if THEY were the ones not feeling well. Then, it would be a major crisis! Sorry to hear that you're not 100% ... I can sympathize, because the bunny has a cold with the sniffles, too! Feel better soon.
