What is the oddest thing you have used as a flower vase?
When no vase is available, what have you used in it's place?

Re: What is the oddest thing you have used as a flower vase?
I've used those thngs that Rox listed, and mason jars
and once a paint can... the most interesting vase I use
regularly is an antique tin milk jug.
It was my Grandad's lunch pail when he was in school.

Re: What is the oddest thing you have used as a flower vase?
Me too... I love the idea of my grumpy Granddad
as a grade school kid!
lt's not very large - about 8 inches high and then the
neck and lid. It's about 8 inches in diameter. Kinda short
and squat. It's dull white-silver tin. Not a bit glamorous
and one of my favorite things.

Hi, Bree!

In the one you USE! to make your coffee? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I guess they didn't want you to miss the flowers? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I use coffe pots for vases - we have a BUNCH! of 'em
that went camping... NOT the one Greg makes his coffee in!

Re: What is the oddest thing you have used as a flower vase?
It was and is the coffee pot I use each day. I couldn't have coffee until I found a new spot for those flowers. lol
Can you picture flowers, with really long stems, hanging out of the glass part of this pot? lol

I asked for the flowers to be put in something and that was it!
Jack, coke bottles are another good one! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Perhaps... you need to be clearer ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I'm trying to remember if I've ever used a
coke bottle - probably. I seem to remember
a long-stemmed rose...
