Is anyone else getting Google searches for pictures in a new way?

I use to choose images and just look at pictures, choose one and click on it, then view in normal size... there were pages with numbers... now, it's all one huge page and when you click on a picture, it takes you to the sight the picture was posted on and the picture you want is right in the middle of the site page. Many are blurry and can't be read.
Is this a Google thing or something my computer might have gotten an update or change for?

Yes, I did notice yesterday that something was different about google when I searched for pictures. I used to be able to search for them, click on a picture I was interested in, and then click on "See full size image" or something like that. It is definitely different now.

You still have the option to see the full size image and copy the URL, but it's on the right now instead of at the top of the page.

Tater, Tithe just told me how to change it back. Go to the bottom of the picture page and click on " switch to basic".

Just checked, and switching to basic does change the initial view back to what you used to see, but when you click on a picture, it is still different than it used to be. I guess Google is now trying to keep up with Yahoo, and changing things that nobody really wanted changed.

Ja'aj, I guess this proves there are different preferences, huh? lol I really don't like the way it dumps you right onto the site with a picture. If I really wanted to go to a site, I would.. without Google's help.

They've given the site of any pic I've selected for
quite a while... it seems the selection is better now.
I think it probably has to do with their (paying) cusomers
and equal opportunity, maybe?
