"They" (the economists, the Fed and government officials) said it ended over 2 years ago.

I get the impression it's only over for the bankers, stock brokers, the wealthy, and the finacial managers. Meanwhile, many stores and businesses remain shuttered or in dire straits, especially in the working class neighborhoods.

They only matter in that, without the consumer to buy their products and services, it's difficult for corporations to make a profit, unless they find new or emerging markets to hawk their goods. Like China and India, for example.

I never doubt the rich will find a way to keep their money and make more to go with it.... even without the regular consumers.

Tell the 10% of the working class that are on unemployment that it is over. Makes me glad(in a way) that i am retired & getting my Soc. Sec Checks.
