Church clothes.. yup, that is what I meant.
I know when I was smaller, my mom always put a pretty dress on me every Sunday.

My Grandmother always used that expression. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
She and my Mom made a lot of my clothes
and my Grandmother referred to special occasion
outfits as "Sunday-go-to-meeting" clothes.
It's a Quaker expression, I think.
Also she referred to getting dressed up as putting on a
"best bib and tucker".
