Re: Celebrating the Arts in Handorf
That works for me! It's beautiful!
I grew up on Shadow Mountain Lake -
a series of 3 lakes actually-Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain and Grandby.
And at the mouth of the Poudre River, plus the Big Thompson.
I love fast water! I just don't want to be IN it necessarily -
especially not those - they are nothing but melted snow!
Brrrrr.
That looks absolutley lovely - and not a bit! threatening. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Celebrating the Arts in Handorf
it was tater ,but next time i leave my credit card home and just take a certain amount of cash !!even though as a volunteer my expenses are covered , it's amazing how much mony can be spent on 'can't resist it at this price,' especially in a whole town filled with speciality shops .

Re: Celebrating the Arts in Handorf
bunny, it's one place you can still get hand made stuff , anything from alpaca wear, leather, silk ,jewelery to jams, pickles ,lollies and chocolates , also cheeses, german cake, sausages ..etc...etc....
we did visit the kids farm, and we both handled a snake, first time ever for Gail,i asked if it was ok to post her picture and she said ''YES !! i'm very proud of this !!''
she ended up actually holding it .[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Wow! Tell her that she's much braver than the bunny! hahaha! Sounds like MY kind of place ... especially the German cake, chocolates, and cheese!
