Does eveyone grow up having the same morals their parents had?
If parents teach certain morals and good behavior.. will children always turn out with the same morals and believe the same things are right and wrong?

Not always, but it sure helps to have a good example set for them.

Re: Does eveyone grow up having the same morals their parents had?
parents are notorious for not practising what they preach !! and kids aren't stupid .
i thought my parents were terribly old fashioned ,and i had my own believes from an early age.
i think kids do pick up their parents believes until they get out into the world themselves,if not sooner !!

Some children learn from their parents mistakes, and some have to learn from their own mistakes. And some learn from imitating their parents, while others learn by NOT wanting to be like their parents.

I agree with what Tater said.
It's not always a sure thing, but it certainly helps
to have a good example set for children to hopefully follow.
Of course, the bunny always says:
"It may be that my whole purpose in life
is to serve as a warning to others!" (Unknown Author)

Did each of you stick with pretty much the same morals and beliefs of your parents?
What made you decide which morals and beliefs were right for you to follow?

The one thing that stuck with me the most is to treat others as you wish to be treated.

Tater, you made no comment on my typo, which said "die each of you..." lmao!!
I corrected it now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I think treating others as you want to be treated stuck with many of us. I know it did with me.

My folks were what you'd call very "old school."
Strict, but fair. Taught me what I needed to know.
And believe it, or not ... I was a well-behaved bunny.

Notice that I said "I was a well-behaved bunny."
I know, you're wondering ... "What happened?"
