This is one of my favorite sites, Jack!

I've been hangin' out here for stuff ...
... well ...
ever since I've had a computer. Yup.

None of my computers have ever been exactly -
(or vaguely) - "current". [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
None of 'em ever cost me a cent, either. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Also, I prefer "stripped-down" (see: sleek )
to "all the bells and whistles".
Older is usually less-cumbersome, too.
Not to mention that very very often the "new"
versions of anything aren't compatible with "old version" PCs.

If Old Version doesn't have it - they will.
Just check back in a week.
(Or ask 'em to get what you'd like to have.)
They're good about that, too.
And all for FREE... my favorite sale price.

Good post, Bunny.

Bree,

Ron, seems it depends on how some computers and Anti Virus are set up. My anti virus didn't go off on that site. Seems not all sites are bad, even if anti virus says they are... it's a matter of sorting it out with the way some things are set. I will have to see if I can dig up the information for you.

OK.Norton is very aggressive so it was weird as he would never post anything with a problem. Computers are not perfect either. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

False positives

A false positive is identifying a file as a virus when it is not a
virus. If an antivirus program is configured to immediately delete or
quarantine infected files (or does this by default), false positives in
essential files can render the operating system or some applications
unusable.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Certain AV software, such as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has a reputation for false positives.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Basically means saying something is bad when it's not.
There is a lot more about viruses and such... Still reading.
