I don't think I've ever had a pair of shoes that were repairable, or at least worth repairing.

I never once ever gave a thought to having boots or shoes repaired until I got an expensive pair of leather boots for $2 and they needed new heels put on. $!4...so, for $16 I got a pair of boots that normally cost approximately $130.
I find that our "cobbler" does a lot more than that! Interesting! smile2

The jacket was worth $150, and it cost me $20 to have it repaired. I've had the jacket for about 10 years now, and now the zipper needs to be reattached to the lining. I think it's worth it.
