It is said humans are a higher form of animal, but animal none the less.
Then why do some get so upset about people eating animals if we are animals
and that is what animals are meant to do?

So long as we don't eat each other.. as in.. person eating person. I instantly thought of Happy Hippy when I read this.. lol She got quite irate. Each to their own, I say. If someone doesn't want to eat meat, they don't need to shove their opinion down your throat till you gag on it.

Happy Hippy was a character on Yahoo answers that was not real happy that I lived on a farm and we reared cattle for sale and for our own meat. She is a vegetarian and totally against anyone being otherwise.

Not a very happy camper was Happy Hippy. Ironically, she became like a wild animal hunting down anyone who disagreed with her.

Like it or not, humans are naturally omnivores. Maybe we don't always have to eat a 12 ounce steak every day, but the best diet is a balanced diet, including greens, grains, starches and veggies, as well as meat and dairy.
