Yes I do. The last time I tried to look at this site, it seemed to be a a pay site, but now maybe that's changed? If so, that's good!

My motto
"Look for the good in life. Seek beauty each and every day"
So yes.
If you're into symbolism the humming bird represents this. Im never without mine!

Is it about the journey, or the destination (philosophically speaking)?

I tend to think the journey and destination are important.

Fellow travelers make the journey what it is. Some touch our hearts while others touch our ire. lol

So Breezey, can we assume by your absence of several weeks that you made your move?

Pretty much so. Going to finish up with cleaning and all the little things left.
It's been harder now that my car is sitting at a shop waiting to be fixed... no
brakes.

Re: Do you look for the good? :)
I know what you mean Breezey, as I have been without my own car for a while now, and I find it difficult to look for a car when you don't have one.

Re: Do you look for the good? :)
We're lucky here. As OAPs we get passes for free bus travel. Great if you live on a route and the destination is also on the same route. Otherwise it becomes a logistics nightmare and takes an impossibly long time waiting around in the freezing cold, or you have to include the car for part of the way. Also no good for supermarket shopping where if you have heavy/bulky stuff , great if you're just popping into the bank or library! Unfortunately Wales and Scotland don't accept English bus passes, so no good for long distance. They're only valid on the service busses, not the long distance carriers, such as National Express and Megabus.

Re: Do you look for the good? :)
Tater, YES!!! I miss my car and it's only been a couple days!
Looking at the GOOD, I have family to help out.
P, I have used the bus system, but it's not ideal for families (price
wise) or for grocery shopping. My food was rolling under the bus!
Buses are okay for some things, but I would never depend on them
for daily use.

Re: Do you look for the good? :)
You wouldn't depend on them here. The drivers tend to use their initiative and "miss bits out" of the route (not good if its your particular bit!). They tend to divert down tiny country roads you'd hesitate to take a bike down. We have roadworks which have been going on for months and they are particularly keen to avoid delays which eat into their regular rest breaks at the terminus.
These roadworks seem to be undertaken by one man and his dog (mainly the dog!) and stop on every odd day of the month. Months with an "r" in are "rest" months as a health and safety requirement. No work is undertaken on days when rain is forecast, and all work is suspended when it actually does rain. Below 60F and above 70F its too cold or too hot to work, and the dog has to be regularly taken for long walks.
I naively thought that this road upgrade applied to the complete two mile section. I was wrong! Its just three hundred yards worth. The rest will, no doubt, have to wait until another Eastern Block state joins the EC and we receive the next influx of Russian trained road builders along with their government surplus of canine cosmonauts.
