Coloidal Silver

Any body have any experience with Coloidal Silver?or know some one who has ?
I've been checking it on the internet,upon googling it I was inundated with horror stories about it OMG
,but a little further research gave the other side, 
and proved those stories as a lot of bunkum.
The first I ever heard of it was one of our radio announcers here said how seriously sick his father was (don't remember what disease/illness) and the C/S cured him, I believe it because a well respected public person like that wouldn't make up such a story.
What are your thoughts ?

Never heard of it, but to be honest, it sounds like something they would promote on an infomercial.

So far, I haven't found anything all that positive.. or that it actually does a lot of good.

Potential Side Effects of Colloidal Silver
Argyria is a condition of excess silver in the body that leads to blue-gray hyper pigmentation. Colloidal silver is thought to cause this condition when taken in excess but it is silver nitrate and silver sulfide that can cause the condition. There are actually no known side effects to using colloidal silver.

So, to me, still kind of "iffy" and I'd want more proof that it can't cause problems.
