Which water is best?

City water, bottled water, well water...
which do you think is best for you and your health?

I think the very best kind of water is the WET kind.

I like the water we have here ... from a rural provider. It does not seem to have all the harsh chemicals, like the water did when I lived in "the big city." When I lived just outside of Dallas, the water was very "hard" and had lots of chlorine in it. I never liked the taste of it, so I drank lots of soda, milk, juice, etc. I got one of those Brita filtering systems, but it really didn't seem to help with the taste. Never really cared for those expensive bottled waters. "Fancy Exotic Spring Water" ... yeah, they probably fill those bottles from the tap anyway.

Jack... I think the chemicals and chlorine are what hurt my eyes. It seems to be worse and time progresses.
Drinking water... I love my sister's well water! No damn chlorine and chemicals every day!

I feel sure, that the chemicals, and most-especially the chlorine are what causes your eye irritation. Chlorine is notorious for causing swimmers problems like that. Over time, you may have become even MORE sensitive to it. Try some good eye-drops to soothe the irritation, when you are exposed. We don't have a well, but the water here is really good ... just right for making LOTS of iced tea!

WE have city water that comes from a river & reservoir. I always run the drinking water through a Britta Filter. Helps with the taste. Some bottled water isn't what it is supposed to be.

I think (do too!) that proably - all things
being equal - well water is the the best stuff...
although these days who knows what is seeping
into the water tables...?
I also use a Brita filter - I have for about 20 years -
(thanks to The Brother) it makes our tap water
taste like bottled water and the taste is the only
thing that recommends bottled water to me -
otherwise "truth in labeling" is out the window there.
I have noticed that each "location" (Colorado, Nevada, Arizona,
Texas, Italy ... etc.) has water that tastes different than the
previous location's water.
I approve of the "additives" (Floride, Chlorine, etc.) for health

In so far as "taste" goes, I have NEVER! liked water -
until just recently - about 3 months ago.
All of a sudden I LIKE! water! (Hell if I know.)

I hope not; I "hear" water is good! for me - I assume that's why
I've never liked it. };>

Oddly enough, Sinic is why I drink more water now. lol He sure has a lot to say about the benefits of water... just not city water. lol Ja'aj... fluoride in the water is now being questioned since many are getting too much of it. As for other additives, I don't trust half the crap being added and never have.
I want a country home and well water that hasn't been attacked by the city, state and government jerks.

Sulfer water is really bad. It smells a lot like rotten eggs. My one aunt had it in her country well water,here in Ohio. Maybe that is one reason she moved to Texas with her son.

Well Ja'aj, That is as cute as a month old German Shepherd pup,and i used to raise & show them for 5 years and thought they were the cutest little things. Even cuter than some babies i had seen!
