Is there more to life?
Is there maybe even more to the simple things we do each day?

Define "more", please... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
My life is full! of meaningful (non-fun; non-spiritual)
"stuff"... right now and I fully expect it will be for
at least! another month; maybe much longer.
If you are going for : "Stop and smell the dandelions" (?)
Yeah, I suppose it might be.
The "little things we do" are the glue that holds our lives together.
They are the things that say "I love you"; "You matter to me", etc.
- even when we don't remember to say it.
I think ultimately each of us gets out of our lives
what we put into it - (money and and status withstanding)
those things don't enter into what I "think" your question means.
"Fullfilling" and "meaningful" are defined differently by each of us.
I believe that people who want "more" will get it - and that
those of us who want "less"... will get that, also.
"More" is what each of us remembers about the people we love who love us,
like "Mom always remembered to cut my sandwitch into"fours"
and "Dad waited up -pretending to read the paper- no matter how old I was....
until I was home. "
Yup ... I think they mean even more than we realized.... at the time.

Awww... Thank you, Rox! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I SOOOO understand the $$$ thing...
Money isn't everything but it's way-ahead of whtever is in 2nd place.
OR... Money can't buy happines but sure can make misery more comfortable!
I love this:
(Mrs. Thuston Howell III; aka "Lovey" of "Gilligan's Island") said,
"People who think money can't buy happiness don't know where to shop."

More... things mean more to us and others than we realize... those simple things that seem so inconsequential to us, but later... we see what they really meant. Your sandwich example is a good one.
